Australian IPA | 6.8% ABV | 65 IBU An Aussie-style IPA, though probably a higher gravity than they would have down under. Hoppy light bitter and dry. Definitely more similar to what we consider to be a session IPA on this side of the pond, but with that elegant Australian hop aroma and dryness. Â

96 Points on RateBeer Dry, pale, and aroma-forward American IPA brewed with wheat malt and Horizon, Chinook, Crystal, Cascade, Simcoe, and Centennial hops. IPA brewed w/malted wheat and six varieties of hops - Brewer IPAs brewed with wheat have unique characteristics which classic barley dominated IPAs lack. Too often adding wheat is a head and body game, the extra protein in wheat malt creates a fuller almost fluffy body and the head gets an extra boost of sustaining foam. But wheat also impacts the flavor of beer as well, of course. Wheat contributes a sweetness factor very different from what you would expect from your kilned and caramel malts. The sweetness is lighter and more subtle, noticeable in this IPA. The fruity hoppiness combines with the sweetness of the wheat malt to create a spectacular slightly toasted wheat bread and apricot jam illusion. Of course the beer is still an IPA so there is apparent bitterness in the forefront and after taste, but unlike other IPAs the bitterness is well rounded and does not deter from the unique flavor profile. - Cicerone

An American IPA with deep citrus and grapefruit aroma, malty backbone and a relaxed bitterness. A flip switch is a mechanism actuating the transition between open and closed states of an electrical circuit. Probably the most common example is a light switch. You know that intense bright light you get when you flip on a good old fashioned light bulb? The kind that almost blinds you until your eyes have a second to adjust? Well the bold hop flavor you experience in the first sip of a Flip Switch is kind of like that, without the blindness of course. - Brewer Great peppery, grapefruit and resiny aromas from the hops dark caramel flavors contrast the bitter hop flavors slightly sweet but bitterness lingers the classic west coast IPA - Cicerone
